Out of this WORLD Birthday party

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my 7 year old Little Man.  He chose an OUTER SPACE Birthday theme.  Here are a few of the ideas we came up with.  If you want to use them feel free. . . . . . .
INVITATIONS

Thanks to Smilebox we have the insert for our invitation.  It just so happens we had family pictures taken on Sunday and got some silhouette shots which made for a cool inlay.   The invitation is just silver paper.  I punched a round hole in the bottom left hand corner (which lines up perfectly with the silhouette photo of the birthday boy).  Next I took a piece of gold transparent paper and placed it in the cut out.  The planets are buttons, and round paper punches.  Earth is a blue punch topped with a green sparkly button.    I took an ink pad and used on the yellow one. And then the red one is simply a button.  The top is blue star paper and I took one rhinestone and placed on one star to appear to be sparkling.

Just a simple bundt cake from Smith's $3.  I grabbed a large sucker for the SUN and dumb dumbs for the planets.  Simple yet I have the HAPPIEST birthday boy!!!!!
