Just heard of an awesome idea (thanks Mandi) and had to try it. Lets just say it adds a whole lot of fun to pizza and BBQ's.
1. Rhodes Rolls (set dough out to thaw for 3-5 hours)
2. Shape roll into a round pizza shape with hands (lightly pulling)
3. Baste both sides with Olive Oil
4. Place on grill until it begins to form air bubbles (2 min)
5. With a spatula or tongs place grilled side UP on a cookie sheet and build pizza to your liking:
Pizza Sauce (not to much pizza will become soggy), Mozzarella Cheese, Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, Pineapple, etc.
6. Place back on grill (at lowest temp.) and cook just to melt toppings and let the dough continue to
bake. (3-5).
K this is DELICIOUS and so fresh tasting. I think I want to try a pesto artichoke, or Alfredo chicken. Any suggestions please comment.
